Sacraments
Baptism
Parents are asked to participate in a Baptismal Preparation class. Please call the Parish Office prior to the birth of your child to register. Baptisms are celebrated after the final Sunday morning Mass or may be celebrated during one of the Sunday Masses.
Weddings
Celebration of the Sacrament of Matrimony requires advanced planning and scheduling. St. Anthony of Padua Parish and the Archdiocese offer several methods of preparation based on the needs of each couple. Please contact the Parish Office at six months in advance of the desired wedding date so that arrangements can be made.
Reconciliation
The Sacrament of Reconciliation is available 3:00pm Friday and Saturday in the Church.
Eucharist
Consult the Mass Schedule for specific times.
Anointing of the Sick
Please call the Parish Office as soon as a parishioner is hospitalized or is seriously ill so that a priest may come to celebrate the sacrament. The sacrament is celebrated during Mass, in a communal setting once or twice during the year.
RCIA
RCIA, or the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, is the process by which adults enter into Christian life through Baptism or are received into the Catholic Church, if already baptized, through a profession of faith. The process is an extensive one and requires a commitment from the participants. A sponsor from the parish accompanies the person on this journey of faith, which usually culminates at the Easter Vigil.
Please call the Parish Office if you would like more information on joining.
